After more than a year of research, surveys, interviews and trainings, PUSD is excited to roll out its long-awaited new website.

The soft launch is the culmination of a massive effort by both District and School Site Instructional Technology staff and administration to provide families and the community with a modernized website. The new site – replacing the previous version at www.piedmont.k12.ca.us – is far more efficient in delivering news and information on a variety of devices, and provides PUSD and schools with more options and flexibility to reach its students and families. Features include:

  • Mobile responsiveness – PUSD’s new website is easily read on phones and tablets.
  • The new website is ADA-compliant and accessible to all audiences.
  • Redesigned navigation and search makes information easier to find.
  • Fresh design and visually appealing layout allows PUSD and schools to better communicate their stories.

“We are very excited to provide this new tool for our families and establish a modern online presence that our community needs and deserves,” said PUSD Interim Superintendent, Dr. Donald Evans. “My thanks to our IT Director, Stephanie Griffin, for leading the project and to everyone who has helped to build something we can all be proud of.”

The soft launch will not include every aspect of the old website. Essential information has been migrated first with more content to follow over the coming weeks. As with any major rollout, there will be bugs to fix and new procedures to learn.  The site includes a way to report any bugs or issues. On the purple menu bar at the top of the homepage, hover over 'I Want To...' and click on 'Report a Bug!'
